The Gallatin Conservation District is presenting a 6 week Pasture Management Class for Small Acreages. This workshop gives land owners the necessary tools to develop a sustainable pasture management plan for their property. Topics covered are: water, soils, weeds, grasses, poisonous plants, and grazing systems. Participants will gain the knowledge and resources they need to develop an individualized management plan. Whether you have 2 acres or 200, horses or cows, sustainable pasture management can help reduce costs, increase forage, protect water quality, control weeds, and improve animal health!
