The Gallatin Conservation District is presenting a 6 week Pasture Management Class for Small Acreages. This workshop gives land owners the necessary tools to develop a sustainable pasture management plan for their property. Topics covered are: water, soils, weeds, grasses, poisonous plants, and grazing systems. Participants will gain the knowledge and resources they need to develop an individualized management plan. Whether you have 2 acres or 200, horses or cows, sustainable pasture management can help reduce costs, increase forage, protect water quality, control weeds, and improve animal health! (if you're too late for this class, contact Jen for future class schedules or check back to this site gallatinvalleyhorseresource.com) | |
